Silverwood Creates Music
Silverwood Creates Music was launched with Silverwood School in September 2022 and runs across all three Silverwood campuses aimed at offering creative music opportunities to groups of pupils. The sessions are designed to have a therapeutic approach with an emphasis on free expression and collaboration. On occasions where song and music themes and ideas are developed over time, videos and recordings are captured and shared across the school. Where pupil permissions allow, short films taken from these sessions are shared on the Silverwood social media channels and are featured on this website.
The implementation of this project has been greatly helped by the donation of an Apple MacBook by Wiltshire Digital Drive which has enabled us to collect and edit high quality recordings in remote locations with speed and ease.
