  • Song Writing Workshop

    During summer 2023 we facilitated a two day workshop with a group of 17 young carers, writing and recording an original song and music video. The project was part funded by Wiltshire Music Connect. <CLICK TO WATCH FILM>

  • Workshop at HMP Bristol

    We helped to deliver a singing and song-writing workshop for inamtes at HMP Bristol working alongside the Prison Choir Project. The prisoners made recordings of their work with us.

  • Spark Festival

    We have a strong presence at this annual festival of wellbeing working with Corsham School and Rewired Counselling. This is a rare opportunity where young people share their profound experiences with music therapy.

  • Silverwood Creates Music

    Silverwood Creates Music

  • Songwriting Project

    Visible Voices

    Working with groups of young carers we facilitated the writing and recording of a song that reflected the role social media plays in their lives. This song will feature on an album released by Wiltshire Rural Music. Watch the project video HERE.

  • Nada Yoga

    These yoga workshops are designed to suit all abilities for 10 to 25 participants. The presence of live music that reacts to the yoga gives participants a very deep and focused experience. Learn more here.

  • UWE Student Placements

    Working with UWE we provide work placements and supervision for trainee music therapy students working towards their masters degree.

The British Association for Music Therapy (BAMT) is the professional body for Music Therapy in the UK, providing both practitioners and non-practitioners with information, professional support, and training opportunities. All Music Therapists at The Rhythm Practice are certified members of this body.

All practicing music therapists at The Rhythm Practice are members of HCPC. This council protects the public by regulating health and care professions. Their website contains a free checking system allowing members of the public to ensure that the practitioner they are working with is bonafide.

The Pound is a welcoming and vibrant venue in the centre of Corsham with a 100-seat auditorium, and exhibition space, cafe bar, parking and baby-friendly facilities. The centre also includes rehearsal and workshop spaces, studios housing three resident visual artists and a community workshop.
